The Scottish Highlands

We continued our drive north stopping at Glen Moriston to have a closer look at some of the Highland Cattle. They were starting to lose some of their hair as it was summer. The long fringe known as the 'dossan' shields their eyes against snow and driving rain of which there is plenty in winter.
